I installed Orbit but it failed to download a stream from icricTV.com so I cannot comment on its functionality. But let me tell you about this site: I had subscibed to this cricket site and need to log-in each time before watching live. After logging in, icricTV takes me to the page where I select the stream which then starts to download. The URL of this streaming page is http://www.icrictv.com/media/media1.phpI thought this info might help you to help me. I really would like to use Orbit so I hope you reply.Thanks

unable to download your software I was unable to download it because it said "the setup files are corrupted. please obtain thw new copy of the program."

Rapidshare downloading I was told that Orbit Downloader can download files from Rapidshare much faster than regular downloading because it downloads on several connections at the same time. I installed Orbit Dowloader and tried. No surprise at all. The downloading speed is as low as downloading with Internet Download Manager or Internet Explorer. RT

great for music downloading Perfect for music downloads. Not Vista ready Yet. slower than no downloader but great for scanning for viruses.

i am disgusted with this product, i paid for this a day ago from now and i still have not got any emails of the sort with the download link, so i asked for a refund, and yet again no reply, personally i think the website is very poorly run and the service is a load of crap! i will be taking this futher if i never get a reply because it was alot of money for me a student to pay for something i have not even got yet.

A lifesaver. I have been using this product for a few months now. It continues to surprise me how many uses it has. I use it to download from mms streaming content as well as for all my other music and video downloads.

Didn`t work for me. I ended up uninstalling the program because it would lock up after about 5 minutes consistently across 2 computers. Had to reboot and could just kill the process with the task manager. Good interface, but it has some deep root problems that need to be fixed.

Passed my test with flying colors! Wanted to cut up a single DVD file of a very short home video Ihad created. I wondered if the splits could be re-assembled and still valid, since DVD files are so critically structured. Your app re-joined them, in working condition.Now I can send it to my daughter using YouSendit online, which limits you to 100mb for the free version. (I selected 99mb for max. filesizes)She\'ll get it sooner than in the mail, and will have the full working menu I designed, to burn to DVD, or put on flash drive ...

FileSplitter - simple to use Used FileSplitter to remove sections of unwanted MPEG2 video, (i.e. I made the orig movie into small chunks, with the ides of removing unwanted sections)I liked the fact that the split video sections could be played normally - something that the new version didn't do.After rejoined the movie, it ran without glitch.A good application, which run quickly.

Very compact, but I needed more power. A 4.5 GByte image was created as two FAT32 Files, 3.99 GB + 0.5 GB.The image application made a mistake, and they got zapped.An Undelete application found them and restored to different partitions.FAT32 threw a wobbly when it got to 3.98 GB.An NTFS partition accepted what Undelete gave it, which was 5 GB, including a 0.5 GB tail-end I did not want.FileSplitter was unable to split this 5 GB into the original two files plus a third residual junk file.Both FFSJ.exe and TheFilesplitter131 solved my problem, but so they should with 20 to 40 times as much code.Alan.

nice little app FileSplitter is a nice little app. Even without reading the help, one can fairly easily figure out how to use the program. A nice little addition would be a pdf-pre-viewer so I know where I am actually splitting the file.

This program does not respect it's user's privacy and continuously irritates while working with it. No matter how great a software is, if it doesn't respect it's users it is useless crap. I am sorry to say but hardly using it for 5 minutes it was unbearable and i have to switch to another download manager.

this is a really good download accelerator..before use this my download speed has been 20kb/s..but after i use this, my download speed has been increase to 110kb/s..this is really2 gooooodd......^^

I prefer this software. I like everything about DAP, but the only thing which is little bothering is that it has always been something that loads up very late during startup, even though now I have a fast PC system. Despite the delay during start up, I've always preferred to use DAP since the past 6 years or more. I'm very much satisfied with its download speed.

Very Satisfied withDAP 8.6! You gotta have it and you won't regret it. You get the downloads faster and you can resume automatically so there is no need to worry that you'll get the downloads yo need. Lots of nice features and configuration tools to set it the way you like it. Unzips and extracts while still downloading and many other fast features.
